Local-First Learning Experience

LinguaPlay is designed as a local-first application.

• Local Storage: Your lesson progress, scores, and app settings are stored locally on your device using Android DataStore. This local learning data is not sent to our servers.
• No Account Required: We do not require you to create an account to use the application.
• Direct Collection: LinguaPlay itself does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.

Advertising and Third-Party Data Processing

LinguaPlay displays advertisements using Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google.

When ads are requested or displayed, Google AdMob may collect or receive certain information from your device, such as:

• Identifiers: Your IP address and resettable advertising identifiers, such as the Google Advertising ID.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system, and app-specific identifiers.

Permissions and System Services

• Internet Access: Currently used to request and display advertisements and support related ad services.
• Text-to-Speech (TTS): The app uses the Android system's built-in Text-to-Speech feature to assist with pronunciation. LinguaPlay does not transmit your lesson progress or settings through this feature. However, the operation of the engine depends on the TTS provider installed on your device.

Local Data Control and Deletion

Since LinguaPlay stores learning progress locally on your device, you have full control over your data. You can delete all progress by:

1. Clearing the app's cache and storage in your device settings.
2. Uninstalling the application.

We do not maintain a user account system, so no account-related data is stored on our servers.

Children's Privacy

LinguaPlay is not intended to collect personal information directly from children.

• Compliance: If LinguaPlay is made available to children or selected as targeting children in the Google Play Console, we will configure advertising and app settings to comply with applicable children’s privacy and advertising requirements, including the Google Play Families Policy.
